The Beach and The Longstore's chef collaboration

This April and May our head chef Joe Simmonds and The Longstore in Charlestown’s Ben Ambridge will be collaborating to co-create a six course tasting menu, which will be hosted by both of our restaurants over two separate evenings.

The first feast will take place here at The Beach on Friday 27 April, and the second will be at The Longstore in Charlestown on Thursday 3 May.

The menu

Confit duck ravioli with wild garlic and potato purée

Cod loin with charred peppers, smoked mussels and a romesco sauce

Smoked ham hock with clams and cockles

Beef fillet wrapped in prosciutto with rainbow chard and bone marrow jus

Chocolate and clotted cream panna cotta

Lemon cream cheese with raspberry sorbet and a brandy snap.
